Our vTutor instructors are experienced certified educators who provide the highest quality of effective instruction for all students. They are well versed in the delivery of common core standards and effective instructional practices. Our instructors are compassionate, enthusiastic and caring and understand how to build a positive rapport with students and parents. They are all carefully selected and go through a rigorous vetting and training process prior to their first session.
You will need to have a stable Internet connection and a laptop, tablet or smartphone to log-in to your tutoring session. We also require students to use headphones or earbuds during the session to optimize the audio experience. Students can upload homework assignments, tests or papers and will be able to see, hear and chat with their vTutor. The system also supports video, white-boarding and desktop sharing.
We advise all students to log-in to the system and ensure you are successfully able to connect to your session 10 minutes before your scheduled start time. If you experience any technical issues, please call us immediately at 888-547-3583 so we can help you resolve any issues.
If you are unable to attend your session at the scheduled time, please let us know as soon as possible by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will work with you to reschedule your session with your tutor. You must reschedule 24 hours before your session. Within the 24-hour period, you will incur the cost of your scheduled session.
If you were unable to participate in your tutoring session because your tutor didn’t show up or due to technical issues with our platform you are entitled to a free tutoring session. To request a refund, please email us immediately at email@example.com.
The vTutor team is passionate about helping students succeed. We carefully select our vTutors based on their professional credentials and their ability to connect with and help students. We offer one-hour sessions as you need them without any long-term contracts or packages. Our online tutoring platform is like no other. Students can see and interact with their tutors through video, chat and an interactive whiteboard.
